Paleta Please is a new ice-cream catering company from California with a clear social mission in mind. Every delicious vegan flavor they serve at weddings and events helps them support a cause close to their hearts. If you live in the Los Angeles area, you should definitely check out this company, cause not only their ice-cream cart will add some fun and tasty interlude to your party but you’ll also contribute to the happiness of others… a double feel good action!  By now you must be so curious, let’s find out what this special mission is by speaking with Jesenia and Chris, the husband and wife team behind Paleta Please.

When did you start the company and what inspired you?

We started Paleta Please in 2017 as an addition to our company Siestas For Fiestas, a beach boutique that’s mission is to end poverty in Cancun, Mexico. The cart has become a great addition and another way for us to help end poverty. 15% of each rental is donated to the Siestas For Fiestas Foundation to help build homes, feed families and send kids to school.

How wonderful! I am sure brides would like to know how does a wedding consultation with you work?

We work with our clients to pick the best package for their event. We are always happy to answer any questions they have.

How far do you travel from LA?

Our packages include travel up to 35 miles from Santa Clarita. We are happy to travel farther but will need to charge a travel fee.

What are the vegan flavors you offer? Can you customize special requests?

We offer the following: Strawberry, Lime, Jamaica, Pineapple, Guava, Watermelon, Cucumber and Chile

Make sure you follow Paleta Please Instagram fun feed for more ice-cream inspiration you can enjoy at your wedding!

A feminist and independent spirit since she could remember (her childhood heroines were Pippi Longstockings and Katharine Hepburn) Daniela Degrassi found her creative outlet as a lifestyle photographer, working mainly in Northern California where she lived for 15 years before moving back to her native Italy to continue to be her autistic sister’s primary caregiver. Vegan since 2014, she found a perfect way to carry her message of compassion while celebrating her love for the wedding industry launching The Kind Bride in February 2018.
