If a honeymoon is the cherry on the cake for a wedding, I imagine a vegan honeymoon  comparable to a whole dessert stand for a vegan couple! What a treat not having to worry about where to stay, where and what to eat, especially in a foreign country.

Good thing you’re on the right blog 🙂 At The Kind Bride we’ll make sure you don’t have to sweat finding your honeymoon of your dreams!

Like Villa Vegana,  a paradise amidst the already idyllic Mediterranean Balearic Islands.  Established in 2013 in Mallorca, Villa Vegana has been one of the first 100% vegan hotels of Europe.

Set within a designated conservation area Villa Vegana lies on a 30.000 square meter ground with panoramic views of the Tramuntana Mountains.

Past olive, almond, lemon and orange trees you get to this peaceful and charming little world. Along the way, grazing sheep, pigs, donkeys and horses will welcome you.

The mediterranean garden and the pool invite you to relax and let yourself go.

The location, the warm & familiar atmosphere, the breathtaking nature and the food make this place a vegan paradise. Surrounded by sounds of nature and lovely animals we welcome you to have a very unique and relaxing holiday with us… make new vegan friends and just feel like home!

Villa Vegana offers a plant based, mostly organic food and only use sustainable and vegan cleaning products, also providing guests with vegan cosmetics not tested on animals. Also missing from their hotel, any leather, wool, dawn or silk products.

The character of the 15th century manor house has been preserved in its traditional mallorquin character and offers all modern comforts of a 4-Star Hotel. The rustic stone walls and the wooden beams give the interior an original and cozy atmosphere.

Although the rooms look cozy and welcoming as is, the new management Miriam and Jens are planning a full remodeling (by the time you book your honeymoon at Villa Vegana they make look quite different!)

While breakfast is included in their room charge, Villa Vegana also hosts a full restaurant service (you don’t need to be an hotel guest to reserve a table if you’re in the area!) Chef Zahira, after working in many vegan restaurants worldwide has now landed at Villa Vegana and with her experience she put together an outstanding international menu, from the Mediterranean, India & Asia, South-America, Africa & the Orient, Eastern Europe to Scandinavia.

Mouthwatering photo gallery, isn’t it? Just imagine tasting all these vegan delights from all over the world, relaxing by the pool with a good book, or visit the many historical sights, theme parks, outdoor activities available in the area.

Now you just need a good excuse, if you’re not honeymoon hunting, to book your next trip the Mediterranean paradise of Mallorca!

A feminist and independent spirit since she could remember (her childhood heroines were Pippi Longstockings and Katharine Hepburn) Daniela Degrassi found her creative outlet as a lifestyle photographer, working mainly in Northern California where she lived for 15 years before moving back to her native Italy to continue to be her autistic sister’s primary caregiver. Vegan since 2014, she found a perfect way to carry her message of compassion while celebrating her love for the wedding industry launching The Kind Bride in February 2018.
