Bundle up, it’s getting cold outside! Winter weddings are beyond magical and whether you’re planning an intimate elopement or grand gathering, these winter recommendations will be sure to be memorable. Grab your wedding planner and start jotting down some notes while sipping a spiced cider.

If you’re looking for a bespoke mountain lodge then look no further than the Scribner’s Lodge nestled in the Catskills. City-dwellers can escape a hectic lifestyle and have an intimate ceremony surrounded by over 20 acres of mountainside. Its idiosyncratic design makes it a unique venue for any couple looking to get cozy in nature. Guests can relax in the comfort of their own suite, some rooms which even offer a bunk bed retreat. And of course, the venue’s kitchen team is more than happy to create a personalized vegan menu for your celebrations!

Each season suites a purpose and with the cold weather rolling in we are reminded to slow down, focus on family, and reflect on the upcoming year- making winter weddings such a great time! There are so many ways to stay true to our values during wintery weddings and spread change through love within our community. Catherine Schiff, owner of The BAYITH, was inspired by the sense of community during dinner parties and wanted to design a sustainable and natural linen collection. Not only does she donate all of her unused fabric, she donates 10% of profits to an organization focused on clean ocean causes. The oatmeal color is such a warm neutral for a cozy winter theme.

Dark chocolate reminds me of the richness of winter. Maybe it’s because I grew up going to the holiday markets in New York, and craved a piece of dark chocolate from the shops. Noteworthy Chocolates offers a delicious custom-engraved dark and golden dark vegan chocolate in eco-elegant packaging designed to be both beautiful and biodegradable. The chocolates are gluten, peanut, soy, and tree nut free making it the perfect wedding favor.

Winter weddings can have plenty of wonderful dessert options., based out of Rhode Island, is known for their plant-based desserts (even the macaroons are egg-free). Although the best treat might be a chance to try the edible cookie dough with various toppings. Not a local? delivers within the US!
