Hello friends, Michelle here! I am excited to make an official introduction after initially connecting with The Kind Bride over a year ago and through attending the Worlds First Ever Vegan Bridal Show. I have been growing in photography for the last 5 years, which ironically also mirrors our family’s plant-based journey. We began moving towards a green lifestyle with the tragic loss of our pet to cancer. Following that, our own health journey encouraged us to continue on with clean green and plant-based living.

I am currently serving couples in the Northern Virginia area, but I am also willing to travel for weddings and elopements! My current goal is to work with all things green-business related: branding for business and holistic health providers, working with the clean beauty industry and much more. I am also working on a book for couples planning a green wedding to include support for vegan couples. If you are planning a “green” wedding and want additional support, feel free to join my Green Your Wedding FB group!

But, my ultimate goal is to impact the wedding industry in encouraging couples, venues and vendors to work together to reduce waste and embrace more eco-ethical and sustainable weddings. Now is the time to make the shift and as the demand grows, I firmly believe that the industry will follow. If you would like to receive a free PDF of 4 Reasons why we should plan an eco-ethical wedding, please do reach out!

When I am not working on my photography business, you might find me teaching classes on using essential oils for supporting one’s health and well-being. Or – more likely, you may find me chasing after my two boys. I am service member spouse and  a proud mom to two amazing boys age 5 and 7 whom I homeschool part-time. Some of our favorite activities are playing in our son’s Organic Grocery store and reading through his Organic Cook books or taking road trips to Charleston, SC. I am thrilled to share that my boys have recognized Non-GMO, Gluten-Free, Vegan and Organic labels since before they could officially read. They are the cutest little grocery shopping helpers I ever did see; but then again, I am quite biased!
