Amethyst Weddings was created by Sian Bowron in 2012. Having switched to a vegan lifestyle herself in 2017 Sian is excited to be able to offer vegan and eco weddings to couples across Hampshire and the South of England. Our Story Begins was created in late 2019 by Charlotte Duckitt who is based in Yorkshire. Charlotte created this eco-wedding planning service out of her frustration at the unnecessary waste produced by weddings when she began planning her own. She was overwhelmed by suppliers pushing excessive orders, unnecessary products and wasteful methods and this did not fit well with her ethical and sustainable lifestyle. She decided to train as a wedding planner to be able to offer conscious couples the opportunity to plan a wedding which is beautiful for them, their guests and the planet. Our Story Begins can offer zero-waste events using independent, ethical suppliers, upcycled décor, seasonal flowers and vegan attire and catering.
