Autumn weddings have the benefit of natural, colorful backdrops and fallen leaves, but they also come with that fresh, crisp air that feels great for a moment, but might have exposed toes feeling cold in no time. While open-toed sandals are not likely the way to go, there are many other beautiful (and vegan, obviously!) choices for your special day. And no matter what type of bride you want to be.
Cute and Comfy
With most gowns reaching the floor anyway, and the best reason to wear heels is for height during photos, otherwise ditching them for comfortable dancing shoes makes perfect sense. Luckily, Toms makes an entire line of vegan shoes and they are just as adorable as you’d think—especially the Pink Wedding Day Print.
Daring and Delightful
For the not-so-basic brides who are definitely not willing to ditch sky-high aspirations, a funky black and white combination out of faux leather might be the perfect choice! The Aubrey Shoes from Suveria Mota may not have created these pumps with “bridal” in mind—but they sure do fit the bill if you’re looking for something drastically different.
Edgy and Eclectic
And speaking of living life (and your wedding day) on the edge, what says funky fall fashion more than pink fringe? The soft pink of these Blue District Sprite Pumps combined with the stylish detail makes them the perfect blend of sass—so much so that they work equally well to accompany a simple, classic style wedding gown or a unique and head-turning bridal look.
Flat and Feminine
You may not have thought to look at Etsy for your wedding planning, but there is actually a ton of perfect bridal gear on the crafty site—including Roni Kantor vintage bridal shoes. While most of her styles are summery sandals, we also love the beautiful ballerinas that let you still feel glam for the ceremony and try out TikTok dances at the reception.
Gorgeous and Graceful
There’s something to be said for timeless bridal fashion! No wonder A-line dresses and ballgowns are just as popular as ever, right? The ultra lovely Di Mules from Cult of Coquette have the prototypical white satin you might be after—with an updated mule style and removable bow (but we love it on) for the complete modern fairytale look.
Something Blue (and Funky)
Okay, so we might just have a thing for mules. But with a super cool faux suede look and chunky heel, Joan from Matt & Nat is completely different than the style above. We still think this alternative wedding footwear can work amazingly well, however, when merged with the perfect bridal blue—especially for the bride who’ll be rocking a short little number.
