During the past two months, the wedding industry has faced an unprecedented challenge. The worldwide spread Covid-19 pandemic has put weddings on hold, taking an emotional and financial toll on couples ready to tie the knot and placing wedding suppliers suddenly out of work.

While we’re all doing our part by observing social distancing, we hope ‘things will go back to normal’ as soon as possible, although we may have to redefine what the ‘new normal’ will be. So, if you’re one of those couples who’s wedding plans have been affected by the current situation, our friend Nicole Hay of Everlasting Vegan Events, has come up with some helpful ideas to navigate you through decision making during the Covid-19 emergency.

Nicole has addressed a few common wedding dilemmas in a recent video:

In addition to her helpful tips, Nicole has also tailored two special Covid-19 Crisis Wedding Packages. Please reach out through Everlasting Vegan Events website for more info.

Prior to launching Everlasting Vegan Events, Nicole worked as an Office Manager at Beagle Freedom Project (BFP) and an Event Coordinator at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). You can read more about her passion for planning vegan events in last year’s interview with Nicole on The Kind Bride.

Nicole is also our partner in planning the second annual Vegan Wedding Fair in Los Angeles on September 20th, although, as many 2020 Spring and Summer events, we had to put ours on hold too at the moment. We’ll keep you posted on the event status a bit later on. Stay tuned and stay safe!

An incurable enthusiast and independent spirit since she could remember (her childhood heroines were Pippi Longstockings and Katharine Hepburn) Daniela Degrassi found her creative outlet as a lifestyle photographer, working mainly in Northern California. Currently splitting her time between SF Bay Area and her native Italy to continue to be her autistic sister’s primary caregiver. Vegan since 2014, she found a perfect way to carry her message of compassion while celebrating her love for the wedding industry launching The Kind Bride in February 2018.
