Table design is quite a key element to bring your wedding aesthetics to life. Are you envisioning an inviting colorful tablescape or a more minimalist design? Whatever your vision is, other elements you may consider are budget and waste production. A growing eco-friendly trend for table decor are edible centerpieces. Creating almost endless combinations, fruits and veggies can elevate your color scheme and design.
To reduce your overall wedding waste, display fruits and veggies uncut and uncolored (some spray it gold for a more lux feel); this way everything on your table can be distributed among your guests at the end of your reception. While some fruits and veggies are available all year round, some can definitely provide a distinct seasonal vibe to your decor.
With the awakening of nature, you have plenty of green veggies you can choose for your Spring wedding tablescape. Get creative arranging artichokes, asparagus, brussels sprouts. Stay minimalist with a simple touch of color from seasonal fruits.
Create a bold colorful vibe with cherries and berries. Peaches and lemons can be used for a more minimalist or romantic design. Tropical fruits are a must if you want to create a distinct summery vibe on your table!
Use warm and pastel shades for your autumn table decor. Pomegranates, figs, persimmons, oranges, grapes and pumpkins are in season. Bread and breadsticks can be displayed and enjoyed during dinner.
Choose earthy tones for your winter centerpieces. Pears, apples, spiced nuts. Add greenery accents to enhance a festive display. If you’re celebrating during the Holiday season, get creative with more elaborate compositions like fruit towers and opulent trays.
Winter is also ideal to use desserts as centerpieces; the colder temperatures will allow them a longer display life without melting. Favorite sweets to arrange are cookies, macarons, pop cakes and even donuts.
