Farm Sanctuaries hold a very special place in vegan hearts.  These tranquil havens where rescued animals can finally find some peace, love and respect, are the ideal location to celebrate a vegan wedding. And we think so not just from an emotional prospective, but from a financial stand point too. The venue rental money you invest will actually help Farm Sanctuaries to keep running and keep working their magic! We encourage you, if you’re looking for a wedding venue, to check out the closest Farm Sanctuary to you and ask them if they can host your celebrations.

If you live near Los Angeles, you will totally fall in love Kindred Spirit Care Farm! This extensive Ranch, is now offering all-inclusive, full-service, plant-based micro wedding packages with ceremony and cake reception. If you have any questions you can reach out to their wedding coordinator and chef extraordinaire, Ms. Mel Walker of Gourmel Catering at 310-488-0889 or e-mail her at

Chef Mel also coordinated the adorable photo shoot we are featuring.

“The inspiration behind the shoot was a modern, sweet country in the city vibe. I wanted to celebrate and embrace the natural beauty that is The Ranch at Kindred Spirits Care Farm. I included gentle, romantic elements in the table settings, as well as showcased the incredible rescue animals, sprawling hills and rock formations throughout Erin Marton’s photos.”

While KSCF is following all CDC and local government guidelines at the moment, they look forward to resuming large-scale outdoor events in their spacious property. The photo ops are endless as you can see from the gorgeous images by Erin Marton Photography.

Besides providing a safe home for rescued animals, Kindred Spirits Care Farm has built a variety of programs and partnerships in support of their community; everyone can join in the spirit of connecting to the earth, animals, plants, biology, science, natural rhythms and each other!

An incurable enthusiast and independent spirit since she could remember (her childhood heroines were Pippi Longstockings and Katharine Hepburn) Daniela Degrassi found her creative outlet as a lifestyle photographer, working mainly in Northern California. Currently splitting her time between SF Bay Area and her native Italy to continue to be her autistic sister’s primary caregiver. Vegan since 2014, she found a perfect way to carry her message of compassion while celebrating her love for the wedding industry launching The Kind Bride in February 2018.
